A ramp closure and police presence on northbound Interstate 25 in Greenwood Village were causing delays for drivers Tuesday morning, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The off-ramp that connects northbound I-25 to Belleview Avenue and DTC Parkway was closed as Greenwood Village officers and South Metro Fire Rescue crews responded to “a person in crisis,” police said at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday.
“This is an active scene,” police said. “Please avoid the area.”
As of 10 a.m., the closure and police presence were causing up to 10-minute delays for northbound drivers between exit 198 for Orchard Road and exit 199 for Belleview Avenue, according to CDOT.
