EastEnders aired a major showdown between Ravi Gulati and Max Branning on Thursday.
The BBC One soap this week has seen Ravi discover that his now-fiancée, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy), has had an affair with her boss, Max.
However, unbeknownst to Ravi, Max is also the father of Priya’s current pregnancy, which she had confirmed via a DNA test.
As a result, Ravi kidnapped Max on his stag night, meaning his stag party has not even crossed paths with Ravi.
Priya, meanwhile, searched around Walford for Max, eventually seeking solace with confidante Jean Slater (Gillian Wright), who directed her to go to where Ravi would most likely take him.
Meanwhile, Max’s imminent bride Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) got wind of Max’s disappearance and headed to the stag party and was worried to find Max absent as the stags celebrated the other groom, Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson), where Cindy and Kim eventually turned up.
At the boxing gym, Max admitted that he and Priya last slept together two weeks prior after Ravi returned to Walford but before he and Priya reconciled.
Priya arrived to stop Ravi hurting Max even more and persuaded him to let Max go as she explained what happened.
Explaining how her hurt feelings led to her fling with Max, Priya made clear her feelings for Ravi as he made clear his dangerous behaviour emerges when people lie to him.
As Ravi continued to be tense, he proclaimed his love for Priya, but he could tell she was hiding something else. Priya proclaimed her love for Ravi and desire for a fresh start, and he promised their family could get through it.
Priya then revealed to Ravi that she was three months pregnant, and he automatically assumed he was the father, and Priya did not correct him to the contrary as he broke down in tears of joy.
Meanwhile, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) went on a date with sweet councillor Clive Masters (Jason Durr) following their successful campaign to save the community centre.
However, after Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) told Linda about Max’s efforts to gain a swathe of signatures to rescue the community centre, it was clear Linda’s feelings for Max were strong.
Linda was honest with an understanding Clive that she had had feelings at least for the idea of another man and put an end to their burgeoning romance.
On her way home, Linda stopped in the cafe and found a wounded and upset Max and said she would be there for him and cleaned his wounds.
Max broke down and revealed he feared he had already blown it with Cindy, but Linda said his timing with Max made more sense. Max then lamented the poor timing of his romances with Linda, and she made her excuses to leave. Max thanked Linda for her friendship, and she mentioned how they’re more than that as they share daughter Annie Carter (Lois Hawkins).
Linda confessed her fears about having Max around were more about her fears of falling in love with him. As Max asked Linda if she was in love with him, she denied it before admitting she was.
Max asked Linda if this was for real, but before it could be clear, the stags entered and, once spotting Max, dragged him from the cafe, leaving Linda perturbed.

Either way, today marked the end of Jason Durr’s Clive Masters on the show, as the character was always intended for a short stint.
