— Ole Miss Football (@OleMissFB) January 7, 2026Alexander spent a pair of seasons at Wake Forest, redshirting in 2023 and totalling 400 yards and two touchdowns in 2024. He then entered the transfer portal and landed at Ole Miss. Through 14 games, he has scored twice and is second on the team with 677 yards.
Alexander enjoyed a solid performance in the College Football Playoff‘s first round with seven catches for 87 yards against Tulane. He was held to just two catches and 13 yards in the Sugar Bowl quarterfinal against Georgia.
There was a chance that Alexander would leave Oxford and join Lane Kiffin at LSU. That possibility is now off the table. And it’s another dose of good news for a program that will see Trinidad Chambliss return in 2026 after being granted a sixth year of eligibility.
The Rebels are two wins away from a national championship, their first since 1962. They’ll face Miami in the Citrus Bowl semifinal at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Thursday.
