GREECE, N.Y. — Greece police arrested two men they called the “snowblower bandits” after officers saw them dragging stolen snowblowers behind a pickup truck on West Ridge Road on Saturday.
Police said the truck was traveling without headlights, sending sparks into the sky as the snowblowers were dragged behind it,
Officials say the truck fled when officers attempted to stop it, crashing into a gate. Investigators recovered five stolen snowblowers.
Nicholas Morales, 33, from Rochester, and Joshua Christ, 39, from Brockport, have been charged with grand larceny, officials added.
All the stolen equipment was recovered and secured, and both bandits are waiting for arraignment in CAP Court.
