80s Rock Hitmaker, 66, Announces Epic International Tour

A quick look at Bryan Adams' history on the Billboard charts is proof of just how popular the iconic musician has been over the years. From ballads like "Heaven" to rockers like "Run to You," he's had more than his fair share of chart-topping hits. Decades into his highly successful career, he's still showing no signs of slowing down; in fact, he just announced an absolutely massive world tour for 2026.

As listed on Adams' official website, next year kicks off for him with a concert in Tokyo, Japan, on January 26. After that, he'll be heading all over the world, making stops in North and South America, Asia, Europe and Africa.

Bryan Adams wrote a musical adaptation of 'Pretty Woman' for Broadway

Some fans might be surprised to learn that Adams can write a lot more than just chart-topping rock songs.

In a 2018 interview with the CBC, he opened up about the process of writing a musical adaptation of Pretty Woman for Broadway.

"You have to make your luck in this world," Adams said. "I like the idea of having a project and so that's why I put myself forward...I've done all kinds of things over the years aside from my records, you know, working in film and animated films and that sort of thing. So Broadway always to me seemed like the sort of holy grail of songwriting."

Adams said he was grateful to have the chance to work with Garry Marshall, the iconic director of Pretty Woman, before Marshall died in 2016.

"Broadway is very much a group thing," Adams explained. "So you'll sit down with the director and the book writer, your co-writer — and luckily we worked with Garry Marshall for a year, which was wonderful. It was his dream to bring his film, which he directed originally, to the Broadway stage. So for a year we had this wonderful dialogue about what he envisioned for each scene and he was extremely helpful in directing us about what he wanted to do. Sadly he died in the middle of the production. That gave us even more motivation to make us make his dream come true."

Tickets for the 2026 Bryan Adams tour are on sale now.
