With a slew of bands announcing upcoming tours in 2026, heavy metal band GWAR is also gearing up for highly anticipated festivities next year.

Cranking up the volume, the intergalactic shock rock legends thrilled fans with exciting news, promising a chaotic and unforgettable live experience.

Following the success of their 40th anniversary, highlighted by their 2025 album and major tour, The Return of Gor Gor, the group is continuing the saga with a U.S. tour titled The Gor Gor Strikes Back.

In an Instagram post, the masked rock metal band revealed they’ll be making multiple stops across cities nationwide.

“Presenting your favorite new entertainment of 2026, GOR GOR STRIKES BACK!” the post reads, adding that tickets will be available on Friday.

The U.S. tour will kick off in March in Richmond, Virginia, and wrap up its month-long run in April in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Besides multiple locations, GWAR also highlighted their special guests, featuring Arizona extreme metal trailblazers Soulfly and Australian grind icons KING PARROT opening every night.

Following the announcement, fans expressed their excitement at seeing the iconic groups on the same stage.

“Love Gwar, absolutely going for @kingparrotband,” one wrote.

“Gwar and Soulfly? Yes please!!!” a follower said.

“King Parrot?! Nice!!” a fan echoed.

“GWAR in Louisville. Yes thank you,” a commenter added.

However, some fans expressed a desire for the tour to hit more international locations, hoping GWAR would bring their chaotic spectacle to audiences around the globe.

“This tour needs to come to Canada,” one wrote.
