This elite-style gaming chair has a lot to offer with a few downsides.

I spend most of my day sitting behind a desk and working at a computer. With that type of lifestyle, I struggle a lot with having the most comfortable chair possible. I’ve tried everything from mesh ergonomic chairs to the luxury reclining plush office chairs. I can’t seem to find something that is just right. The SecretLab Titan Evo Gaming Chair comes pretty close to perfect, but does miss the mark in a couple of places.

About Secretlab Titan Evo Gaming Chair

The Secretlab Titan Evo is designed to deliver long-lasting comfort, reliable support, and premium build quality for both gaming and work sessions. Its ergonomic shape, cold-cure foam, and adjustable features create a customized seating experience that helps reduce strain during extended use. The chair includes four directional armrests, a magnetic memory foam head pillow, and a fully adjustable lumbar system that adapts to your back for consistent comfort.

A key advantage of the Titan Evo line is the ability to choose a size that fits your body. The chair is available in Small, Regular, and XL, giving users the chance to match the chair to their height and weight for the best possible fit. Upholstery options include SoftWeave Plus fabric and NEO Hybrid Leatherette, both created for durability and a premium feel.

Whether you need dependable support for competitive gaming or all-day productivity, the Titan Evo offers a blend of stability, comfort, and style that stands out in the premium chair category.

    Pricing & Availability

The XL version of the Titan Evo has a base price of $629. As you add on various accessories, the price could change. I added the Secretlab PlushCell Memory Foam Armrest Top and the Secretlab Ergonomic Recliner Add-on to the chair. That increased the price by $318 (without any sale discounts). The Secretlab Titan Evo can be ordered through secretlab.co or Amazon.

    User Experience

The unboxing and assembly of the chair was very similar to other gaming/office chairs I’ve worked with. The chair arrives in various pieces with the back and seat being the largest parts. You start by attaching the wheels to the wheelbase and then inserting the hydraulic into the center of the base. Then, you attach the support onto the bottom of the seat and attach it to the top of the hydraulic. This is slightly out of order from what the instructions direct you to do. I find it easier to attach the back to the seat while the seat is already on the base. After the seat is on the base, you attach the back to the seat by inserting and tightening the screws into the installed brackets.

At this point the chair was about 90% complete. I added the armrest cushions, which just snapped onto the armrests and placed the neck pillow, which magnetizes to the head rest of the chair. I tried out the chair without the Recliner add-on first just to see how it balanced and worked without the foot rest. Adding the Recliner on was very simple. I love the design of it because most gaming chairs can use it. It’s not just an exclusive add-on for a Secretlab chair.

    BUILD QUALITY

I’ve been very impressed by the build quality of the Titan Evo. It’s definitely a premium chair and even though the assembly process is similar to other gaming chairs, the parts are definitely a higher quality that some others I’ve seen. It’s tough and it feels as though it will stand up to standard use really well. I especially like the wheel base. The 5-point base is made out of heavy-duty metal and the wheels are large enough to roll through large pile carpet, too. I feel that the Titan Evo will hold up to even heavy-duty use.

    COMFORT

While the Build Quality of the chair is remarkable, the comfort level is something else. The seat is made with medium-firm cold-cure foam, which is supposed to deliver a good balance of comfort and support. I found that while I do feel move supported, I also found that the seat is much firmer than I would like it to be. After a longer gaming session, my rear end is sore and my back has cramped up a bit. I am hoping that it will loosen up over time, but right now the firmer seat is a no-go for me.

Aside from the seat, I found all the rest of the features very comfortable on the Titan Evo. The Recliner Add-on is especially nice and is without a doubt, the most comfortable foot rest I’ve experienced with a gaming chair. It’s the foot rest I’ve been searching for for a number of years now. I feel that the chair is very well-balanced with the foot rest and reclining back.

    Conclusion

The Secretlab Titan Evo delivers outstanding build quality and a wide range of adjustments that help it stand out in the premium gaming chair category. The overall structure is solid, the materials feel durable, and the Recliner add-on elevates the comfort level in a meaningful way. While the seat foam is firmer than I prefer and has caused some discomfort during longer sessions, the rest of the chair performs impressively well. For users who want strong ergonomics, a long-lasting frame, and customization through sizes and materials, the Titan Evo is a strong contender. With a break-in period, it may get even closer to ideal comfort.
