Brandy and Monica are finally getting their (proverbial) flowers in a big way, nearly three decades after their 1998 joint smash hit, "The Boy Is Mine," was released.
The music icons are currently on their co-headlining The Boy Is Mine Tour, and the response from fans has been overwhelming.
In an Instagram Reel shared following the longtime R&B stars' Washington, D.C. tour stop—which saw surprise guests Michelle Obama, Destiny's Child's Michelle Williams, and more—supporters of the singers pointed out that the spike in attention has been a long time coming, and is absolutely "well deserved."
