Several members of the Ukiah High School football team received All-League honors from the North Bay High School Athletic League for the 2025 football season, Ukiah Unified School district officials announced this week.
In a press release, district officials reports that the Ukiah Wildcats advanced to the championship game against El Cerrito on Nov. 28, and though Ukiah “played a tough and competitive game, El Cerrito won.”
Following the end of the season, these local athletes were honored:
Team quarterback, Beau David, was named Offensive Player of the Year. Jordan Schwarm was named Defensive Player of the Year. Three Ukiah athletes made the First Team Offense: Dareon Dorsey, WR, Ryan Todd, WR, and Coner Quigley, OL. Four were named to the First Team Defense: Dareon Dorsey, DB, Dante Giacomini, LB, Clayton Petri, LB, and Sterling Wright III, DL. The Second Team Offense also featured Ukiah players: Christopher Thompson, RB, Zach Martinez, WR, Colton Gaylord, OL, and Jackson Cronin, OL. Three more made the Second Team Defense: Zach Martinez, DB, Parker Marsh, LB, and Will Durnil, DL.Ukiah Unified officials described the school district as “proud of these amazing student athletes. They not only played with skill and heart, but modeled good sportsmanship throughout the season. We offer our congratulations to the entire team of players and coaches, and their families. Go Wildcats!”
