Fill Your Bowl and Refresh Your Soul’ at a Soup-er Year-end Party hosted by WELL (Willits Economic Localization) on Sunday, Dec. 7 4-6:30 p.m. at the Hub, 630 S. Main St. (2 doors south of Mariposa Market) in Willits. This is a FREE event.
WELL will provide choices of vegan and organic soups, brought by our Board members and Marie Blancas (caterer and owner of Moon Lady). We also have donations of delicious breads from Tam Adams of Emandal Farm and Reza’s Breadery. If you wish you can bring munchies or side-dishes.
In addition to sipping soup and breaking bread, we’ll review previous ideas and develop new ones for moving WELL and our Willits community towards a more sustainable future. For a few examples: improving walking and bike-riding opportunities; community/town hall meetings; local food feasts; involving youth; services for mental health and the unhoused; emergency preparedness.
We’ll also have a short WELL membership meeting to elect our Coordinating Committee members (as required by our non-profit Bylaws). This is a good time to become a member or renew for 2026!
