As per India Today, the cricketer’s wedding has been postponed indefinitely after her father was rushed to a hospital on Sunday in Sangli. Smriti’s manager stated that the star did not wish to proceed with the wedding amid the family emergency. Mandhana’s manager informed that the star’s father is currently under observation and that various tests are being conducted in the hospital.
“Mandhana was very clear that in these circumstances she did not want to get married, which is why the decision has been taken to postpone the wedding indefinitely,” Smriti’s manager Tuhin Mishra told the publication.

Rodrigues, who was India’s saviour in the semi-final against Australia with her spirited 127-run knock, has been named number 3 in the team of the tournament.
