BRIGHTON, N.Y. — The Rochester theater scene celebrated a special milestone with the 20th anniversary of a beloved local staple, OFC Creations.
The celebration included a preview of “Emmet Otter’s Jug Band Christmas,” marking the regional premiere of a stage adaptation of the classic Jim Henson TV special.
Vivian McLaughlin, co-starring in the production as Mrs. Alice “Ma” Otter, and known for her role in the Disney Channel’s “Out of the Box,” shared her personal connection to the story.
“I actually watched Emmet Otter since I was like 9 years old,” McLaughlin said. “I think the story focuses on love and on gratitude and on family, which spans all generations,.”
The show is set to premiere on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m. at OFC Creations Threatre Center, 3450 Winton Place. It continues through Dec. 7. Click here to order tickets.
