With Halloween more than a week behind us, it's basically the holiday season, which means it's almost time to say goodbye to the Pumpkin Spice M&M's and hello to another limited-edition, more festive flavor.
The bittersweet swap appears to have begun right before our eyes, too, as some shoppers are already reporting finding the returning winter favorite flavor on shelves. Meaning, all of your fall favorites (including Ghoulish Twix and the ready-to-bake Halloween M&M Sugar Cookies) are about to become nearly impossible to find, so if there ever were a time to stock up, it would be now.
But that's neither here nor there, as fans of the Peanut M&M's are nothing less than thrilled by the Mars brand of candy-coated chocolates' latest seasonal update and the revival of a "delicious" flavor: M&M's Toasty Holiday Peanut.
M&M's Toasty Holiday Peanut Flavor Returns for the Season
The returning favorite became such a quick hit with fans when it initially debuted last year that the company felt inspired to launch a similar, year-round spin-off of the classic peanut-stuffed candy (Honey Roasted Peanut M&M's) earlier this fall.

The limited-edition Holiday Toasty Peanut M&M's start with roasted peanuts that are "infused with cinnamon, vanilla, spiced sugar, and caramel" flavors and then enveloped in smooth milk chocolate and a thin, crispy candy shell.

"YESYESYESYES," one excited fan wrote in response to the news online.
"My FAV!!!" a second gasped. "Can’t wait to find them again!"
"I couldn’t find these last year, really hoping I can find them this year!!" one more cheered.
So far, shoppers have found the "fantastic" flavor at Walmart, but they do not appear to be exclusive to the merchant, as Parade editors reviewed current product listings at several other retailers, including ACME Markets, Fry's Food Stores, Hy-Vee, Shaw's, Target, and Amazon (prices may vary).
Fans can also buy 7.44-ounce packages online directly from the M&M's store starting at $5. How long the Toasty Peanut flavor will be around is currently unclear, but it will presumably be stocked through December and available for purchase as long as supplies last.
