Rochester Children and Teens Book Festival
The annual Rochester Children & Teens Book Festival will be held from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Monroe Community College.
This year’s theme is “Feed Your Imagination: Read!” which aims to encourages all kids to celebrate literacy, diversity, and reading.
There will be various activities such as meet and greets with over 50 authors and illustrators, story times, food trucks, face paintings, book-related crafts, presentations, and more.

Deaf Culture Day at RMSC
In collaboration with the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID), the Rochester Museum of Science will be hosting Deaf Culture Day from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The museum will provide an accessible and friendly experience for the deaf and hard of hearing community.
Some of the programs and activities include a star show in the planetarium, an electricity theater show, Penfield Robotics demos, and more.

STEM Day at Strong Museum (Also happening Sunday)
This weekend, the Strong Museum’s Play Lab will turn into a vibrant Clixo Creation Studio, where kids can design, build, and play using flexible magnetic pieces.
This also coincides with the museum’s National Toy Hall of Fame celebration, where this year’s toys will be inducted.
Moonlight Market at The Grove
The Rochester Downtown Development Corporation (RDDC) has announced the return of the Moonlight Market at The Grove, a market to kick off the holiday season.
The event will be held from 4 – 7 p.m., and will have live music, art making, permanent jewelry, local cradt vendors, and more.

Pay-What-You-Can Buffet
Bent’s Opera House in Medina is hosting a free hot buffet and food drive from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. to help families in need of a meal.
