PITTSFORD, N.Y. — Two people, one Monroe County sheriff’s deputies say is a “violent repeat offender,” have been arrested after being accused of stealing a car off the Nazareth University campus in October.
Deputies say they found the stolen car in the area of Griffith Street in the City of Rochester Tuesday. They say they then arrested the driver, 39-year-old Gabriel Medina, and his passenger, 33-year-old Kaycee Gannon.
According to deputies, Medina’s arrest Tuesday marks the third time in four months Medina has been apprehended on a County Court Bench Warrant on assault, stolen property, and resisting arrest, which dates back to January.
Both Medina and Gannon were charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and stolen property. Medina was arraigned on his outstanding bench warrant, and is being held without bail at the Monroe County Jail.
