For millions of workers, finding a job that fits isn’t just about scanning listings — it’s about feeling supported, seen and connected. That’s where Jobcase comes in.
The company is both a social media platform and a recruitment technology provider, building bridges between workers and employers in a way that’s both human and high-tech.
A key part of its approach is Jobcase.com, an online community where people can share advice, swap stories and search for jobs. There’s also Jobcase for Partners, which provides white-label job-board software and products to businesses, including media partners like Southern California News Group (SCNG) and The San Diego Union-Tribune, helping them grow revenue and serve their communities by connecting local employers with qualified job-seekers.
It all works together to further Jobcase’s mission of “empowering the world’s workers for a better tomorrow,” while giving employers the tools to hire high-quality candidates as efficiently as possible, said Michael Dawes, vice president of Jobcase for Partners.
“We’re not just helping people find jobs, we’re helping them expand their opportunities and succeed,” Dawes said. “And when workers succeed, employers and economies thrive and communities grow stronger. That’s the impact we’re aiming for every day.”
Jobcase is deepening that impact locally by powering SCNG’s career page and the Union-Tribune’s career page, where it promotes open positions, hosts hiring events and shares job opportunities across its vast online network to help local employers attract the right candidates. The platform also gives employers space to highlight their workplace culture and connect directly with potential employees.
Jobcase is also the title sponsor for OC Top Workplaces, an annual Orange County Register program that celebrates companies recognized as the best places to work in Orange County based on employee surveys. An awards celebration will be held Dec. 4 at the Marconi Automotive Museum in Tustin.

While Jobcase for Partners is helping media companies support employers, Jobcase.com is one of the largest online communities for workers in the U.S. It has more than 100 million members who range from skilled tradespeople and hourly employees to professionals looking for their next career move.
“It’s like a LinkedIn for the working class – it’s designed to empower workers, especially those who may not have the same professional networks that traditional white-collar workers rely on,” Dawes said. Still, about 15% of the Jobcase.com audience is college-educated, he added, reflecting the platform’s wide appeal across industries.
Signing up is easy and free. Once users create a profile, they gain access to job listings and an impressive range of career development tools, including an AI career coach that helps members write resumes, craft cover letters and even suggest relevant job matches based on their skills and interests.
“We want people to know they can come to Jobcase to find a job, build their skills, or simply connect with others who understand their challenges,” Dawes said. “It’s all about giving people the tools and support they need to succeed.”
That has impressed members like Shania White, who joined Jobcase as she was searching for management roles.
“I hadn’t thought about using Jobcase before, but I was really interested when I saw it had AI tools,” White said. “ I signed up through the AI coach, had my resume reviewed and realized it wasn’t up to the standard I needed. The app helped me improve my resume and after taking a test, I started moving forward and landing interviews.”
White said the AI tool also helped her fill out applications and made sure everything was correct, providing an extra boost of confidence. “I even had my grandmother download the app because it’s so easy to use.”
