The International Exhibition for the Reconstruction of Syria, IMAR 2025, brought together 260 companies from 23 countries. The event focuses on exploring promising opportunities in infrastructure rehabilitation and the reconstruction of Syria.
The exhibition aims to define the next phase of Syria’s rebuilding process and open doors to genuine economic partnerships. It provides a platform for companies to explore opportunities in infrastructure rehabilitation, the reconstruction of war-torn areas, and the planning of modern cities.
Organized by the Ministries of Economy, Industry, Energy, and Public Works and Housing, the exhibition highlights key investment sectors, including construction, infrastructure, energy, and industry.
At the opening ceremony, Mustafa Abdulrazzaq, Minister of Public Works and Housing, emphasized that the exhibition represents a national event embodying the Syrian people’s resolve to rebuild and restore their leading role in construction, reconstruction, and development. He considered the event “a clear message to the world that Syria has begun a new phase of work, productivity, and partnership.”
The minister hailed the exhibition as an interactive platform that brings together public and private sectors, as well as local, Arab, and foreign investors, to “accelerate the reconstruction process and develop cities and infrastructure.”
For his part, Mohammad Hamza, Director General of the Syrian Exhibitions and International Markets Establishment, explained that this exhibition marks a crucial phase in Syria’s construction and economic recovery.
