LATHAM, N.Y. — The former president of the New York State Troopers Police Benevolent Association (NYSTPBA) has been arrested after being accused of using union funds.
State police say Thomas Mungeer, 56, stole union funds for his own personal use between 2018 and 2022 while serving as president of the NYSTPBA.
Mungeer was charged with grand larceny. He was arraigned Friday morning and is due back in court in December.
