ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Dozens of tech companies from across the country are at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center on Thursday, recruiting talent in optics and imaging sciences.
The Industrial Associates Symposium aims to recruit talent from the University of Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Monroe Community College. Apple and L3Harris will be among the companies there.

About 500 people from companies, universities, and government labs are expected to attend. Students and faculty will showcase their projects at the conference, including one on how optics can help address energy demands for artificial intelligence.
