With a star-studded cast and a best-selling novel as it's source, new romantic drama Regretting You has all the ingredients needed to be a hit – at least on paper.
Based on the book of the same name by Colleen Hoover and starring the likes of Alison Williams, Dave Franco, McKenna Grace and Mason Thames, the film follows a mother and daughter whose already rocky relationship is further soured by a tragic traffic accident involving two of their close family members.
Meanwhile amid the tragedy, both are becoming involved in new romantic relationships, which also threaten to drive them further apart.
