Gleb Savchenko is tapping out of the next Dancing With the Stars live tour for a variety of reasons.
“It’s a transition,” Savchenko, 42, exclusively shared with Us Weekly at the 2025 Gurus Awards, presented by Gurus Magazine, on Sunday, October 12. “It’s nice to have a great season. I’m not going on tour. I’m gonna go see my kids — my girls that live in Hong Kong — for a few weeks over the holidays, and I’m just focusing on myself.”
Savchenko —- who shares daughters Olivia, 14, and Zlata, 8, with his ex-wife, Elena Samodanova — and his season 34 partner, Hilaria Baldwin, were eliminated from Dancing With the Stars after Disney Night on October 7.
While the duo will likely return for finale week, Savchenko says he now has some extra time to pursue activities away from the ballroom.

“A lot of people don’t know this about me, but I’m actually very spiritual. I meditate every single day,” he told Us at Derek Warburton’s event held at the Cicada Restaurant & Lounge in Los Angeles. “I’ve followed Joe Dispenza for the last three years. I’m going to his retreat in December. I’m very excited about it. I’ve been following the Monroe Institute. I meditate. I’m focusing on myself. I’m focusing on my acting. I’m auditioning. I’m in the Lesly Kahn School for Acting. I’m taking it very seriously.”

While he’s waiting to see what happens, he’s grateful for the support of his Dancing With the Stars family, who offered encouragement during the process.
“Elaine [Hendrix] and Danielle [Fishel] were giving me some acting tips,” he teased. “Everyone is incredible.”
One thing Savchenko is not focused on is dating. After a public split from former Dancing With the Stars partner Brooks Nader, the professional dancer is content with doing life solo for the time being.

When you overcome that fear and you start really liking your own company, that’s when magic happens. That’s when the miraculous thing happens … I’m in the right direction, taking the right steps. I’m very happy. I don’t think I’ve ever been happier. I’m very at peace.”
Although viewers won’t be seeing Savchenko and Baldwin, 41, competing in the ballroom going forward, both parties are quick to look back on their experience with fond memories.
In fact, Baldwin gave Us an exclusive tease into what she had planned for Dedication Night, airing Tuesday, October 14, before her elimination.

“It was going to be so fun. We were going to dedicate it to [my husband] Alec, and he was going to be a part of it,” she told Us while attending the Gurus Awards. “It was going to be, like, Saturday Night Live meets Dancing With the Stars. It was going to be epic.”
Baldwin added, “We worked ahead of time. Alec had already come to film. They should have, like, a guest performance that has nothing to do with the competition.”
Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
