No. 21 Arizona State football’s top-25 bout with No. 9 Texas Tech on Oct. 18 will kick off at 1 p.m. MST for the Sun Devils’ first day game of the season.
The television broadcast will air on FOX, while the radio call can be heard on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app.
It is the earliest start time of the season so far for ASU, as the weather in the Valley is starting to shift toward fall. It is also the earliest kickoff at Mountain America Stadium since 2022.

Arizona State visits Utah this Saturday before the Red Raiders come to Tempe.
Texas Tech is 5-0 with five blowout wins. The Red Raiders, led by head coach Joey McGuire, beat Utah and Houston to start its Big 12 slate.
Arizona State lost to Texas Tech, 30-22, last season in Lubbock.
Big Noon Kickoff, FOX’s traveling college football pregame show, has not yet announced its location on Oct. 18, although it typically visits the sites of marquee 9 a.m. MST games. Big Noon Kickoff will be live from the Ohio State-Illinois game this week.
Arizona-Houston kickoff time released
Football and breakfast: The Arizona Wildcats will take on Houston at 9 a.m. MST at TDECU Stadium on Oct. 18.
The game will air on FS1.
The Wildcats are 4-1 after a 41-13 win over Oklahoma State this past weekend, while Houston is 4-1 having lost its first game of the year to Texas Tech.
Arizona will host No. 18 BYU this week.
