IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — A man is facing grand larceny charges after Irondequoit Police say he stole a work truck just after being charged and released with petit larceny.
Police say at around 9 a.m. Tuesday, Hicham Fathallah walked out of their station after processing and stole a truck that was parked on Titus Avenue, all before their paperwork was done, police say.

— Irondequoit Police (@IrondequoitPD) September 30, 2025Prior to Tuesday, police say Fathallah was arrested on Aug. 27, Sept. 22, and Sept. 28 all for petit larceny. They also say on Sept. 12, Fathallah was arrested by the Rochester Police Department on criminal mischief charges.
In a post on X, Irondequoit Police said that this is something that happens statewide but “nothing is changing.”
