Getting some air on the delivery, Agha got to the pitch of the ball and drove it through the extra cover region. Suryakumar Yadav dives to his left, stops the ball to an extent; however, SKY aimed at the stumps, and the ball instead hit Salman.
The Indian skipper then went on to appeal for the obstruction of the field; however, the third umpire seemed to find no merit in the appeal. The Third Umpire saw that, despite keeping an eye on the ball, Salman Agha never changed his running direction. The Umpire hence ruled him not out. This was followed by the crowd booing the Indian skipper for having made the appeal.
