Burrow required surgery after suffering severe turf toe on his left foot.

No official timeline for his return has been provided, but ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter has suggested he could be out for a minimum of three months.

Browning is now 4-4 as a starter, having played seven games in 2023 after Burrow suffered a season-ending injury.

If the Bengals do want to explore a trade, Giants third-stringer Jameis Winston would be a viable option.

He is no Burrow, but his reume suggests he could unclock Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, even if he throws a few picks along the way.

Kirk Cousins and Jimmy Garoppolo could also be available.

The Bengals face the Broncos on Monday Night Football, giving Taylor an extra day to find an answer at QB.

If he can’t, he will fail in front of millions in primetime.
