Inside the Governors Ball 2025 Emmy Awards Afterparty: Details From Inside (Exclusive)

After the trophies were handed out at the 77th Emmy Awards, and host Nate Bargatze announced that $350,000 was being donated to the Boys & Girls Club of America, the stars went out to celebrate — and Parade was inside the Governors Ball afterparty.

Following the Sunday, Sept. 14, ceremony, honoring the best in television at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Gayle King was one of the first to arrive at Governors Ball. She accidentally sat at the wrong table at first, but was met with love from fans who asked her for hugs and meet and greets.

Jeff Hiller, who was awarded Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance in Somebody Somewhere, stopped to pose for photos before heading into the ballroom. He was quickly flocked by people wanting to meet and congratulate him.

Severance’s Tramell Tillman, who won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, was seen with his mom talking to many guests — in fact, a line formed to greet him.

Hannah Einbinder, who was bleeped out during her acceptance speech for her work in Hacks (she ended it with “Go Birds, f–k ICE, and free Palestine”), changed into a black gown for the afterparty and was spotted getting her Emmy Award engraved. She even posed for a selfie with a fan and appeared to be in a great mood after her big win.

Other stars seen at Governors Ball included John Oliver, Dan Gilroy, Phaedra Parks, Kristen Kish and her wife Bianca Dusic, Gail Simmons, Jason Isaacs, Jeannie Mai, Jennie Garth and more.

A live band kept the party going all night long with hit songs from Motown to current pop music and beyond.

Guests had plenty of food and beverage options, including champagne, wine, cocktails and Fiji water. There were even drinks to choose from at a coffee bar and Johnnie Walker cocktail stand.

For food, chefs Lee Anne Wong and Jet Tila had stations with long lines and served dishes like Peking chicken wraps, veggie stir fry wraps, Kanpachi Poisson Cru and a hearts of palm ceviche. Tray-passed items included wagyu cheesesteak sandwiches and elevated BLTs, and other food stands served chicken skewers, short rib and more.

For dessert, there was a candy bar, a custom Magpies ice cream bar and various assortments. Tom Cruise’s favorite cake, the famous White Chocolate Coconut cake sold at Doan’s Bakery, also had its own stand.
