The Duggar family is offering support to family friend Erin Bates Paine as she fights for her life after developing sepsis.
The Bringing Up Bates star is currently in the ICU after going into septic shock following the birth of her seventh child with husband Chad Paine on Aug. 25.
Under updates posted to the couple's joint Instagram account, several Duggar family members have offered words of encouragement and support.
"Chad, we are upholding you all in prayer daily ??," wrote Jinger Vuolo under one of the updates. "Praying for y’all!!" added Jill Dillard.
Jana Duggar, Jessa Seewald, and Jinger's husband Jeremy Vuolo also commented that they were "praying" for the couple and their children.

The most recent update shared on Saturday, Sept. 6, showed Erin holding her newborn son Henry, and confirmed that the reality star is "on the road to recovery" amid the life-threatening health battle.
The Duggars once again showed support to their longtime family friend after hearing the positive news.
"Praise the Lord! Been thinking about yall and praying for you!! ?," wrote Dillard. "Praise the Lord!" commented Seewald.
"? ?" added Jinger.

The Duggar and Bates families go back nearly thirty years, with both families being part of the Independent Baptist faith and having 19 children.
According to Jim Bob Duggar, the families first met at a conference attended by Jim Bob in 1997.
Like the Duggars, the Bateses also had their own reality show, titled Bringing Up Bates, which aired in UPtv from 2015-2021.
