Former 19 Kids and Counting star Anna Duggar shared a super rare video of her daughter, Mackynzie, 15, and fans noticed the same detail.
On Sept. 1, the mom of seven—who now runs a Golden Retriever breeding business called Golden Grove Pups— took to Instagram with a clip of her teen daughter and one of their puppies.

"Puppy snuggles + giggles are the best ?," Anna captioned the update. "Ms. Gray is 6 weeks old tomorrow and already the queen of belly rubs + head scratches! ✨ We have a few pups left... ready to go home soon! DM for more info ?."
In the clip, Mackynzie sat on the floor while wearing an orange shirt and shorts. She pet and cuddled a cream-colored Golden Retriever puppy as a whimsical song played.
Anna limited comments on the Instagram post. However, Reddit users weighed in on the rare glimpse of Josh Duggar and Anna's eldest child—and many of them made the same observation.

One Reddit user declared, "Wearing short shorts! Scandalous!" referencing the Duggar family's previously extremely conservative rules on modesty.
During their 19 Kids and Counting days, all of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar's daughters only wore long skirts, as girls weren't permitted to wear pants because of their IBLP beliefs. Many of the Duggar women choose to wear pants today, however.
Another Reddit user replied, "RIGHT! It's so normal for regular teens I forget it looks strange on them!"
A different user admitted, "I'm surprised she's allowed to wear shorts. I know she had been seen wearing pants (as well as Anna), but still."
Someone else echoed, "I'm shocked at the shorts."
Meanwhile, yet another Reddit user pointed out, of Mackenzie, "She's going to be 16 next month."
In addition to Mackenzie, Josh and Anna share three daughters, Meredith, 10, Maryella, 5, and Madyson, 3, and three sons, Michael, 14, Marcus, 12, and Mason, 8.
Anna posted similar clips of two of her other daughters, Meredith and Maryella, a few days before the video featuring Mackenzie. Maryella was captured on video with an adorable puppy on Aug. 22.
