Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez will put his titles on the line against Terence Crawford next weekend in what has been billed as the ‘fight of the century’.
The Mexican superstar will defend his super-middleweight belts in a blockbuster showdown with ‘Bud’.
Canelo (62-2-2) overcame William Scull via unanimous decision in May to unify the Cuban’s IBF belt with his WBA, WBC and WBO titles.
Crawford (41-0, 31 KO) is the reigning WBA super-welterweight title holder, but will move up two weight classes to be Canelo’s next challenger.
It has been billed the ‘fight of the century’ by Turki Alalshikh, whose Riyadh Season will promote the event with Dana White and Sela in what is anticipated to be the most-viewed boxing fight of all time.
UFC president White will be making his first foray into boxing after joining forces with Alalshikh earlier this year.
