Newcastle’s Saudi Arabian owners are willing to sell Alexander Isak to Liverpool on deadline day, talkSPORT understands.
Liverpool remain keen to sign Isak but will not pay as much as £130million.
As reported last week, Isak’s camp have been confident the Swede would get his dream move to Anfield.
Liverpool have purposely not made a second offer as they do not want to be drawn into bidding against themselves.
The Premier League champions’ initial bid of £110m plus add-ons amounting to a British record deal remains on the table.
In what could be a busy final day of the transfer window, Liverpool are also hopeful of landing Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi.
The Merseysiders have offered £35m for England international Guehi, who is eager to make the move.
