Believe it or not, the Chicago Bulls did not receive the highest marks in the latest NBA 2K.
While the game is not set to hit shelves officially until next week, the majority of player ratings have already found their way online. For what it’s worth, we have already discussed the game’s Top 100, which somewhat surprisingly did feature three separate Chicago Bulls players. But I thought we might as well take a quick look at how the rest of the roster fared.
As I said in that previous post, I know many may think it’s ridiculous to give any ounce of attention to video game rankings. I get that. However, plenty of players are well aware of their overall rating for a reason. The iconic 2K series has become a legitimately solid way to understand where a player’s reputation stands in the league and in the court of public opinion.
With that in mind, I’ll drop the rating of each Chicago Bulls roster member below! Shoutout to 2K Ratings dot com for listing it all out.

The main thing that jumped out to me here is how low Ayo Dosunmu ranked. While he may be coming off a season-ending injury, he did play the best basketball of his career for the first half of last season. The guard averaged 12.3 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds a night on excellent efficiency. He shot 49.2 percent from the field and also played a career-high 30.3 minutes a night. Especially when we consider his upside on the defensive end, putting him at 76 feels a touch too low.
Similarly, I know we have yet to see Isaac Okoro in a Bulls uniform, but he is arguably the best defender on this roster. I could genuinely see him forcing Billy Donovan to give him more minutes than Patrick Williams, who sits one spot higher with a 75.
Lastly, already having Matas Buzelis as the team’s fourth-highest rated player is certainly high praise. It also might be only a matter of time before the game is forced to bump him up even higher. Nobody on this team has more two-way upside, and we all know the Bulls are planning to lean that much more on the second-year forward this season.
