Daytime Emmy Winner Roger Howarth is returning to CBS Daytime this fall in an exciting new role.
Deadlinereports that the former As The World Turns star will be joining the cast of The Young and the Restless this fall for a major story arc.

Howarth is not the only actor joining the top rated soap this fall, Daytime Emmy winner Tamara Braun will be joining the soap as the new character Sienna Bacall.
Howarth confirmed the news on Instagram, captioning his post, “Excited and appreciative… I’m a lucky guy…”

Roger Howarth’s Daytime Career
The actors daytime career began in 1992 when he joined the ABC soap opera Loving as Kent Wilson. Later that same year he went on to portray Jory on the CBS soap Guiding Light.
However, Howarth became a household name with his portrayal of the complex and layered Todd Manning on One Life to Live. He played the role off and on from 1993 until the shows cancellation in 2011. The actor won a Daytime Emmy award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series in 1994 for his portrayal of Todd.
While away from One Life, Howarth joined the cast of As The World Turns where he portrayed Paul Ryan from 2003 until the shows cancellation in 2010.
In 2012, he joined the cast of General Hospital as his One Life to Live character Todd Manning. Due to a legal dispute, the role was written off the soap opera, but he remained on the soap opera and assumed the role of Franco Baldwin. Howarth remained as Franco until 2021 when the character was killed off. He then portrayed his third role on General Hospital when he portrayed the role of Austin Gatlin-Holt from 2021 through 2023 when the character was also killed off.
The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS and streams weeknights on Paramount+.
