Lainey Wilson has taken another country artist under her (uber-successful) wing.
The "Watermelon Moonshine" singer, 33, has built a strong bond with rising star Ella Langley and has made it clear that she has her back.
During an August appearance on Country Nights Live with Bev Rainey, Wilson spoke about her support for the "You Look Like You Love Me" singer, 26, and also credited country legends Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, and Wynonna Judd for sharing their "wisdom."
"I was talking to Ella Langley the other day, and she was telling me that she's getting advice from you, just like you were saying about Miranda. I'm like 'Let's go girls! We got this,'" Rainey said in a TikTok clip from the episode, which included the caption, "Country queens lift each other up. Lainey's got Ella's back!"
Wilson replied, "I mean, Miranda was that person for me, and I know that she is also that person for Ella, too. But I just think about the wisdom people have passed on to me, I mean folks like Miranda, and Reba, and Wynonna, and like all the ladies that—it's weird, it's like, we have all experienced some of the same things, but it's been completely different times."
The country superstar continued, "It's just important, you gotta pass on that wisdom, you can't keep it all for yourself, it's like, these people have been more than willing to just pour loads of wisdom into me.
"And I love Ella. And, she is like a sister. And I just see her, and I think she is one of the most talented people in this business. And so, it's important for me to, you know, to check in on her, and just be there for her if she needs me."
Fans praised Wilson's support in the comments, with one writing, "Amazing! So happy Ella has you!
"Lainey is a class act," another said.
"This totally warms my heart—women supporting women," a third commented.
On August 11, Langley announced that she'd be taking a break from touring amid health struggles.
"I'm so sad to be posting this. The past several weeks have been tough. I've been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever," she wrote in an Instagram post.
"I've made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health—mind, body, and heart. I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead. And I know I can't do that without first taking care of myself," the singer-songwriter continued.
"Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down. I'm so grateful for your understanding and your love—it truly means the world to me," she added, in part.
Langley—who joined Morgan Wallen on his 2025 I'm The Problem Tour and Riley Green on his 2025 D--n Country Music Tour—revealed that she would be absent from the following dates:
