Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford will see the launch of a first-ever ‘Underdog’ card, a separate bill two days before the main attraction.
Alvarez and Crawford will meet in a blockbuster event at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on December 13.

And it now appears that his plan is taking shape, as he has announced a new bill of action that will take place on September 11 – the Thursday of fight week.
The bill will be named ‘Underdogs’ launched by Ring Magazine, and will be the ‘first ever’ episode of a new series where bright young talent will look to showcase their skills.
In the headline attraction of the new structured card, Anthony Olascuaga will put his WBO flyweight world title on the line against leading ranked Juan Carlos Camacho Jr.
It is an astonishing feat to have a world title fight on such a bill, before a punch has even been thrown on fight night.
A whole host of other talent including Floyd Mayweather protege Jalil Hackett, and unbeaten pair Emiliano Alvarado and Justin Viloria will take to the ring.
Rick Reeno, CEO of Turki Alalshikh owned Ring Magazine, said: “The Underdog is all about giving fans the fights they want — competitive, unpredictable matchups that highlight the next generation of stars.
“September’s teaser event is a preview of what’s to come and, starting in January next year, fans can expect must-watch action every month.”
