Damascus,SANA-Transport Minister Yarub Badr and Tourism Minister Mazen al-Salhani launched the “Hejaz Gallery Damascus” complex and hotel project, with a total area exceeding 45,000 square meters, near the historic Hejaz Station.
The project includes a 12-storey five-star hotel featuring 181 rooms, 17 suites, and a presidential suite, alongside a shopping mall, a conference hall, and three underground levels. Once completed, the project is set to provide over 1,500 jobs during construction and around 600 direct jobs upon operation. It represents a significant tourism and investment milestone in the heart of Damascus, linking Al-Nasr and Khaled bin Al-Walid streets, blending the site’s historic character with modern architectural value, and contributing to the city’s economic and cultural vitality.
