Damascus Governorate, Education Ministry honor outstanding students of Basic Education

Damascus, SANA- Damascus Governorate, in cooperation with Education Ministry, honored, at al-Azm Palace, 13 outstanding students of Basic Education Certificate in Damascus, in addition to 150 students who are sons of the governorate employees.

Damascus Governor, Maher Marwan Idlebi, said: “Damascus is proud of you and expects more from you”, adding that “The governorate will always support young talent and adopt any achievement that contributes to building the country”.

    He thanks Ministries of Education and Endowments, their teaching staff, and students’ families for efforts exerted to ensure their children’s excellence

    Education Minister, Mohammad Turko, said” With knowledge, we build the country”, urging the outstanding students not to stop at this achievement.

    He stressed the Ministry will always support the future generations, hailing also the effort and hard work of the students’ families.

    For his part, Endowments Minister, Mohamed Shukri, said: “You are the leaders of the future, and excellence at this stage is the first step on the success road.

    A number of students expressed their proud of this honor, thanking the governorate and the ministry for supporting them.
