2025 ISCA Summer Elite Showcase
Aug. 6-9 St. Petersburg, FL LCM ResultsMilly Birch moved up in the national rankings in the 200 fly and 1500 free following her performance at the ISCA Summer Elite Showcase earlier this month.
Swimming in the 1500 free for the first time, the 14-year-old Birch clocked a time of 17:29.96 to win that event, and also captured the 200 fly in a personal best time of 2:18.93. In the girls 13-14 age group this season (long course), Birch moved to fifth in the 200 fly and is now 11th in the 1500 free.
Swimming for Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics, Birch also won the 200 free (2:10.45), 400 free (4:26.78) 50 back (31.58), 100 back (1:06.96) and 200 back (2:25.09). She still holds the eighth-fastest times in both the 200 back (2:18.11) and 400 free (4:23.11) in the 13-14 girls’ age group despite not setting personal bests in those victories.
Birch was a big reason why Asphalt Green won the combined and girls’ team titles. Asphalt Green also won the boys’ team competition.
Other individual standouts were:
In the boys’ competition, 14-year-old Xan Randolph of Asphalt Green swam personal best times to win the 400 free (4:23.36), 50 back (29.95), 200 back (2:14.05) and 50 fly (27.80). He also took 2nd in the 200 free (personal best 2:05.01), 200 fly (personal best 2:19.41), 200 IM (personal best 2:21.77) and 200 back (1:04.64). Chloe Yang, a 14-year-old from Asphalt Green, won three events and had four 2nd-place finishes. Yang was 1st in the 50 free (28.62), 100 free (personal best 1:01.16), and 50 fly (personal best 30.30), and 2nd in the 100 fly (personal best 1:04.55), 200 free (personal best 2:13.04), 200 fly (2:20.25) and 400 IM (personal best 5:30.67). Vedant Mehra, swimming unattached in the boys’ competition, swam personal best times to win the 50 free (25.44), 100 free (55.42) and 100 back (1:03.80). Also in the boys’ competition, 13-year-old Atticus Fogarty of Asphalt Green won seven events, taking the 100 free (57.63), 200 free (2:06.71), 400 free (4:24.64), 50 back (31.37), 100 fly (1:01.98), 200 fly (2:16.83) and 400 IM (5:03.33). Each of those times, except in the 200 free, were personal bests. Sienna Cho, a 14-year-old from Asphalt Green, won the 200 IM (2:30.50) and 400 IM (5:24.77) in the girls’ event. She also was 2nd in the 50 breast (personal best 36.95), 200 back (2:29.71), 100 back (1:10.10) and 50 back (32.96). Max Paltridge, a 13-year-old from Asphalt Green, won four events in the boys’ competition. He topped the field in the 1500 free (18:04.99), 100 back (personal best 1:06.97), 200 back (personal best 2:23.71) and 200 IM (2:25.43).Combined Team Standings — Top 5
