Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department detectives on Tuesday were investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Bellflower.
Deputies from the department’s Lakewood Station were called at approximately 9:16 p.m. Monday to the 14000 block of Bellflower Boulevard. They found the victim near T. Mayne Thompson Park, between Foster Road and Rosecrans Avenue, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
He was a man in his 20s, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name was withheld pending family notification.
