Carmel Swim Club’s Lily Clark, a sectionals qualifier and sprinter, will be attending Wagner College in the fall.
l am so excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Wagner College! I want to thank my parents, coaches, teammates, and most importantly God for helping me through this process. GO SEAHAWKS!!
Clark attended Carmel High School in Indiana and trains with Carmel Swim Club.
In March, she swam at the Speedo Sections in Indianapolis, where she set a new best time in the long course 50 freestyle, touching in 28.25 to finish 80th overall, her highest finish at the meet. She also swam the 100 freestyle, where she touched in 1:01.10 to finish 81st and the 100 fly, where her 1:10.85 was 124th.
At her last short course meet of the season, the Indiana Swimming Senior Championships, she swam the 50 free (25.44), 100 free (54.54), 100 fly (1:02.25) and the 200 IM (2:10.15). Her 200 IM was a new best time.

50 free: 24.72 100 free: 53.99 100 fly: 1:00.32 200 IM: 2:1-.15Wagner College is a Division I school in New York that competes in the Northeast Conference Championships where the women’s team finished 4th last year.
Clark will be a strong relay addition to the Wagner team with her 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle coming in as the 5th fastest on the team last season. Her 100 fly would have been 8th.
Wagner had two scorers in the 50 freestyle at the women’s conference meet, led by graduate student Allie D’Allegro finishing 7th. Freshman Lovisa Ramsten also scored, finishing 11th in 24.07. Ramsten also scored in the women’s 100 fly, finishing 9th overall.
