FOWLER — Denny Lee “Frenchie” French, 83, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, following complications of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases.
He was born Aug. 24, 1941, in Warren, a son of Russel Charles and Frances Edna Mocella French.
He retired as a tinner and trouble shooter at Packard Electric and was a U.S. Air Force veteran and member of the Brookfield United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Kathleen Tyrrell; son, Russel French; daughter, Melody Merrow; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by one grandson and one brother.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Briceland Funeral Home, Brookfield, with military honors.
Interment will be in Vienna Township Cemetery.
