Texas A&M wideout predicts Aggies will have SEC’s best offense

Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion faced Mike Elko when both were in the ACC, Concepcion at NC State and Elko at Duke as the Blue Devils’ head coach.

Concepcion is now set for his first season playing under Elko at Texas A&M after transferring from the Wolfpack, with the Aggies hoping that 2025 sees them shake off a disappointing end to 2024. That will partly rest on the shoulders of Marcel Reed as he opens the season as the starter at quarterback.

But Texas A&M’s WR room will look massively different in 2025 as the top 4 receivers have either transferred, graduated, or gone to the NFL. That doesn’t concern Concepcion, though.

“I project for us to be the best offense in the SEC, honestly,” he said. “Of course we went out and got a few receivers, but we got the offensive line coming back, we got Marcel going into Year 2, we got all of the running backs coming back, and then we brought in a whole bunch of new receivers, explosive receivers, and all of us can do something with the ball in our hands.”

Elko predicted at SEC Media Days that Reed would take a “massive jump” in the 2025 season. We’ll see how quickly he develops chemistry with a revamped corps of wide receivers, including Concepcion.
