Hours before Brooke Hoganbroke her silence following the death of her father, Hulk Hogan, at the age of 71, her husband, Steven Oleksy, issued a bold statement of his own.
The 39-year-old took to his Instagram Story on Tuesday, July 29, bashing AI-generated videos claiming to be from the WWE star's immediate family.
"My wife and I have not released any official statement about the death of my father in law. We are grieving and processing privately and ask for the respect to do so," the former NHL player wrote alongside a photo of the couple with Hogan on a boat, mere hours before Hogan shared a statement on her Instagram profile.

"If you see or hear something it did not come from us. There are many disturbing AI videos circulating that do not represent our family, feelings or opinions," he warned, before thanking followers for thier "love, support, and understanding."
The couple wed back in 2022, welcoming twins together this past January.
Brooke also took to her Instagram on July 29, writing, "My dad’s blood runs through my veins."
She continued, "His eyes shine through my children. And our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments. We had a connection deeper than words, one that spanned lifetimes. I am so grateful that I knew the real version of him. Not just the one the world viewed through a carefully curated lens. We shared a quiet, sacred bond, one that could be seen and felt by anyone who witnessed us together."

As she shared memories with the wrestling legend, she took a moment to "clear a few things up," noting that despite reports that the two were estranged since her father's wedding to Sky Daily in 2023, they never had a "big fight," but there was a shift in recent years and she "had to step away to protect my heart."
She concluded: "I'm deeply grateful for the love, tributes, and memorials from his fans and friends. His life was one worth celebrating — and always will be."
Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, shared Brooke and her brother, Nick, with ex-wife Linda Hogan, whom he was married to from 1983 until 2009.
While a cause of death is not yet known, Hogan died on July 24 at his home in Clearwater, FL.
