Ukraine sensation Oleksandr Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999 following a split-decision win over Tyson Fury in May 2024.
In a fight for the ages, Usyk dropped Fury in the ninth round to wrestle the WBC belt from the Gyspy King to add to his WBA, WBO, and IBF titles that he claimed from Anthony Joshua.
Usyk then vacated the IBF gold, with Daniel Dubois claiming it before defending the title against Joshua.
Meanwhile, instead of taking on the mandatory challenger, Usyk arranged to fight Fury again and came out on top once more.
IBF champion Dubois is now set to face Usyk in a rematch of their 2023 bout, with the rivals fighting for the chance to unify the division.
The Ukrainian modern-day boxing legend could easily have decided to call it a day after beating Fury for a second time, but he wants to become undisputed champion again.
Despite no currently being undisputed, Usyk is one of 26 stars who have held all of the heavyweight titles at once, with the first-ever undisputed heavyweight champion being Jack Dempsey in 1922.
Dempsey’s reign lasted four years before Gene Tunney took the honour and it changed hands many times over the next two decades.
Joe Louis is the boxer who has been the undisputed heavyweight champion for the longest, sitting at the top of the sport for 12 years.
Rocky Marciano, Joe Frazier, Buster Douglas, Liston, Foreman, Tyson and Ali are all some huge names who have also held all the available titles.
Here, talkSPORT.com gives you a rundown of all the undisputed heavyweight boxing champions and how long they held the belts for…
