(NewsNation) — A car drove into a crowd in East Hollywood early Saturday morning, injuring more than 30 people, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The call came in for a crash outside a nightclub at the 4600 block of West Monica Boulevard around 2 a.m. local time. LAFD Public Information Officer Adam Van Gerpen said a driver "lost consciousness."
"Somebody lost consciousness inside the vehicle, drove into a taco cart and ultimately ran into a large number of people," Van Gerpen told AXN News at the scene.

Three are in critical condition, and six are in serious condition, LAFD said in a statement. More than 120 fire personnel were on scene.
