Formation of a joint investigative committee to examine violations and crimes committed during the recent events, compensate victims, and restore rights in accordance with existing laws.
Government control over the Damascus–Suwayda highway to ensure the safety of travelers.
Immediate provision of essential services to the province, including water, electricity, fuel, and healthcare.
Efforts to release detainees and uncover the fate of those who disappeared during the recent unrest.
Establishment of a joint committee to monitor the implementation of the agreement’s terms.
The statement described the agreement as a key step toward rebuilding trust between the people of Suwayda and the Syrian state. Its goal, the statement added, is for Syria to remain united, strong, and secure for all its people, “including our people in Suwayda, who remain an integral part of this cherished homeland.”

Fierce clashes had erupted in Suwayda in recent days between government forces and local factions that the Syrian government has labeled “outlaws.”
On Wednesday morning, government forces reportedly advanced to the eastern neighborhoods of Suwayda city from the west, and gained control over most of the city.
