A FORMER NFL player turned analyst for Fox Sports confirmed his time at the network is over.
Fox canceled three shows in a major shake-up ahead of the 2025 season.
The network is coming off a record Super Bowl broadcast in New Orleans, Louisiana.
But some of the worse-performing shows have been scrapped.
One of them is The Facility, which aired weekdays on FS1 at 10 am ET.
Former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel was part of the crew along with the likes of Emmanuel Acho, LeSean McCoy and James Jones.
But Daniel, 38, confirmed his Fox exit in an emotional post on X.
He wrote, “Really thankful for the chance to work with so many great people—on and off camera—on FS1’s The Facility.
“While the news was unexpected and change is never easy, I’ve learned through my time in the NFL that you’ve got to be adaptable & resilient through the highs & the lows.
“Thank you to everyone at Fox Sports for the experience, support and memories!
“I will praise & trust God on the mountain tops & in the valleys!”
The Facility was one of three FS1 shows that were canceled this week.
The others were Speak and Breakfast Ball.
Daniel played quarterback in the league from 2009 to 2022.
He bounced around eight different teams after going undrafted out of college.
Daniel only started five games in his career and had a 2-3 record.
He was part of the New Orleans Saints team that won the Super Bowl after the 2009 season.
The quarterback was backup to Saints franchise icon Drew Brees.
Daniel has also appeared on NFL Network as part of his career in the media.
“You’ll be fine boss,” one fan said. “You’re a great analyst for QB play. God bless.
Another commented, “”Give Sean a shout. Broncos could use you as a coach.”
While a third wrote, “Time to get back in the League Chase!!!!”
