Saturday Night Live's Ego Nwodim is keeping herself busy this summer.
The actress announced some exciting news on her Instagram this Monday afternoon. Nwodim screenshotted an article written by Variety, reposting the news that she, along with Chris Meloni, Sherry Cola, Caleb Hearon and Ben Ahlers, will be joining Netflix's upcoming comedy film Little Brother.
Starring John Cena and Eric André, Little Brother will follow a famous real estate agent (Cena) whose carefully curated world is upended when his eccentric “little brother” (André) unexpectedly reappears.
Matt Spicer is set to direct the Netflix comedy, and the film is written by The D-Train filmmakers Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel, according to Netflix.

The 37-year-old comedian just finished her sixth season of SNL. Nwodim joined the cast at the beginning of the sketch comedy's 44th season in 2018. Before SNL, she honed her craft at Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles and earned recognition in the 2016 Just for Laughs festival. On SNL, she’s created standout characters such as "Lisa from Temecula" and "Miss Eggy." Additional acting credits include Mr. Throwback, Poker Face, Brockmire and Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile.

The release date for Little Brother has not been announced, but according to reports, the comedy film is in its production phases. The movie is reportedly being filmed in Montclair, New Jersey.
