Jelly Roll entered the ring at WWE’s SmackDown on Friday, July 11, and got into a feisty altercation with influencer-turned-fighter Logan Paul.
After Logan interrupted the country star’s performance, he began attacking professional wrestler Randy Orton. However, Jelly came to Randy’s defense by grabbing Logan by the back of the head and slammed him to the opposite corner of the ring.
WWE shared a clip of the fight via Instagram the following day, and fans deemed the four-time Grammy-nominated artist’s move the “Jelly Rolled” attack.

For the Saturday Night Main event the following evening, Jelly teamed up with Randy, and the pair fought against Logan and Scottish wrestler Drew McIntyre.
However, the “Son of a Sinner” musician lost the fight when he disappeared into thin air when Drew used his legendary Claymore Kick on him.
Needless to say, viewers were more than impressed by Jelly’s skill to sell the fight.
“Jelly Roll took that claymore like a champ,” one person wrote in the comments section of a Saturday, July 12, WWE Instagram post.
A second fan added, “Babyyyy he sold that so good I thought Drew offed him.”
Meanwhile, the wife of a WWE fan shared how Jelly brought in viewers to the fight.
“My husband is obsessed with WWE and I can’t stand it. It’s so dumb and I just laugh at it,” the woman wrote. “But Jelly Roll last night had me all in!! We need more Mr Jelly and I’ll become a fan!”
Despite Jelly’s defeat, the “Wild Ones” artist isn’t done showing the world his fighting talents. When the men reunited backstage after the fight, Jelly told The Viper that a big mistake was made by underestimating him. Jelly’s partner, Randy, came to his defense by teasing his upcoming appearance at SummerSlam, which airs on August 2 and August 3.
