ESPN announced a final decision over Dan Orlovsky’s future with the network.
The Worldwide Leader in Sports’ latest move comes months after handing out a five-year, $100 million contract to star personality Stephen A. Smith.
Orlovsky’s future has been under a microscope since February when he signed off from First Take and revealed his uncertainty with ESPN.
The former NFL quarterback’s contract was set to expire this summer.
But on Wednesday, it was announced by ESPN that Orlovsky has signed a “multi-year agreement” to remain with the network.
ESPN also revealed that Orlovsky will continue his regular duties on NFL Live and his work as a game analyst for Monday Night Football‘s No. 2 team.
Orlovsky will also continue to appear on First Take, SportsCenter, Get Up, and The Pat McAfee Show.
Front Office Sports had reported earlier this week that Orlovsky was “at the 1-yard line” on signing a long-term contract extension with ESPN.
