    Arshdeep Singh set for Test debut as Jasprit Bumrah likely to be rested for Edgbaston Test

    Meanwhile, Arshdeep Singh might finally get his Test debut cap as India prepares to face England in the second Test at Edgbaston starting July 2. The left-arm pacer was seen sweating it out under Morkel’s watchful eye during a long and intense training session in Birmingham.

    According to a Times of India report, Arshdeep is in contention to earn India Test cap No. 318. If selected, the Punjab lad will become the second Indian cricketer after Sai Sudharsan to make his Test debut in the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy in England.

Donning the iconic No. 18 jersey, which is associated with Virat Kohli, Suryavanshi smashed five sixes and three fours to give India a dream start in their 175-run chase.

    India U19 raced past the 70-run mark in just the eighth over before Suryavanshi was dismissed by Ralphie Albert. However, the damage was already done, as the India U19 team cruised to the target with 26 overs to spare. With the win, India U19 takes a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.
